Practical Horseman

There's the "A" circuit, the "B" circuit and the "C" circuit...

Now there is the
"E" Circuit!

Introducing the new
showrider.com
"E"-Circuit Horse Show Series!

Compete against riders
from around the world!

Your idea of "Horse Shows" is about to change
... forever!

Here's How It Works:

Riders from around the world submit actual horse show videos of them
and their horse and enter any class or division they wish.
Rounds are available to be viewed as soon as entries are received
and are posted on the showrider.com website.

Visitors from around the world to the showrider.com website will be the judges for the first horse show and they may view the rounds as they are entered in the show and may begin casting their votes for the winners on the day that entries close.   Visitors to the web site will have one week to cast their votes.
The official placings will be announced on the final day of showing.

There are 2 types of E-Horse shows to choose from:

Rated Shows
All videos must be clips from actual rounds at "live" horse shows only.
Entry fee: $10 per class.  Cash prizes will be awarded in each division.

Schooling Shows
Especially designed for riders who don't have their own horse or
who have horses or riders that have never been to a horse show.
Videos can be from riding lessons or home made schooling videos.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

ENTRIES

Entry Fees: $10.00 per class, $15.00 per division and $25.00 for Classics, unless otherwise stated ($5.00 for Schooling classes).

Riders may submit videos of their choice for any division they wish to enter. Rounds are available to be viewed as soon as entries are received and will be posted on the showrider.com website. Visitors to the showrider.com website are the judges and will be able to view all of the rounds daily and will be able to begin casting their votes on the day that entries close. Visitors to the web site will have one week to cast their votes.  Checks should be made payable to: Showrider Inc.

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS

Only non-copyrighted videos that you are the sole owner of should be sent. All videos sent for the e-rated show should be footage from actual horse shows. Each exhibitor may submit as many horses on one tape as necessary. The same round of any horse may be submitted for more than one division. i.e. the same round can be submitted as a Low Hunter and an Adult Amateur round. Exhibitors may submit entire jumping rounds, however Under Saddle videos should show the walk, trot and canter in both directions and should not be more than 3 minutes in length. Under Saddle videos need not be from an actual horse show and under saddle footage is subject to editing for length.

REFUNDS

There will be no refunds available after an entry is submitted. showrider.com is not responsible for the length of time that it takes a video to download. While showrider.com makes every effort to minimize the length of download time, the actual time it takes for a video to download depends upon the speed of the viewer's modem.

CREDENTIALS

The On-Line E-Circuit Horse Show is a way for horses and riders from around the world to compete against each other in a fun and unique way. Thus, to ensure the fairness of the competition, it is expected that all exhibitors enter their horses according to an Honor System. Exhibitors should only enter
e-classes and e-divisions that they would normally be eligible for, or actually competed in, if they were at a "live" horse show. Any exhibitor found to have entered a horse in an e-division that they are not eligible for will be immediately removed from the e-class/e-division and all entry fees will be forfeited. All Junior and Amateur Owner exhibitors must list their age on the entry blank, and all Junior Hunters must have their height entered on the entry form as well.

JUMP ORDER

Entry numbers will be given, and horses will be shown, in the order that their video entry is received.

LIMITATIONS & DECISIONS

The showrider.com E-Horse Show, its committee and/or employees will not be responsible for any loss which may occur to the video tape that is submitted. We are happy to return all video tapes, however, TAPES CAN ONLY BE RETURNED IF ACCOMPANIED BY A SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOP AT THE TIME OF THE SUBMISSION. NO EXCEPTIONS! Should any question arise that is not provided for in the rules, the same shall be referred to the E-Horse Show Committee, whose decision shall be final. Management reserves the right to change the show schedule, vary the list of invited officials, and add or cancel a class should the best interest of the show be served. The committee, further, reserves the right to combine any two e-classes if the entries are not sufficient to fill them.

PRIZE MONEY

All prize money will be made payable to the person paying the entry fees whose name is on record with Showrider Inc. Lost prize money is the responsibility of the owner and Showrider Inc. will not be liable to prize money checks lost in the mail. Checks are good for 60 days. A trophy and/or cash and six ribbons will be awarded in all classes, except where noted. In all classes which offer "ADD BACK" prize money, the guaranteed purse and the total add-back monies in each class will be added together and divided as follows: 1st - 35%; 2nd - 30%; 3rd - 20%; 4th - 15%.
